Location
The Godley is located in the centre of the township of Lake Tekapo. Tekapo is on the main highway between Christchurch and Mount Cook. Its also en-route to Queenstown. It is therefore an ideal place to break the tour for an overnight stop in magnificent countryside
Rooms
Currently 80 rooms, twenty with lakeviews. There is a mixture of rooming configurations. They are basic rooms, but from May 2004 there will be a major renovation to the hotel upgrading the entire hotel.
Restaurant
The Garden coutryard restaurant is open all day. Serves both buffet and a'la carte menus, in stunning scenic surroundings.
General
This hotel has a great location, while the hotel has adequate facilities the renovation begining in may 2004 will turn this basic tourist hotel into a nice four star property.
