Location
The hotel is located in Obihiro city, east of Sapporo, located in Hokkaido, the northernmost and second largest of Japan's islands. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Tokyo Haneda Airport to reach Obihiro Airport, and from there, it takes about 30 minutes by car. Guests coming from JR Obihiro station can make use of the hotels free shuttle bus that operates between the hotel and the station several times a day.
Rooms
Rooms are located in either the Hidaka Wing or the Garden Wing. The Hidaka Wing rooms offers views of the mountains to the west. The Garden wing rooms have views of this hotels famous garden in the south and with the floor to ceiling windows, guests are made to feel that these rooms are an extension of the garden with plenty of natural light. Many of the materials used in the interior decoration of the hotel are products native to this area of Hokkaido, including wood (Hokkaido Cherry), paper (Washi) for the window blinds and lampshades, bricks and ceramics. All bathrooms also have floor to ceiling windows so that guests can enjoy their surroundings to the full.
